The People's Hall of Fame for World Cup 26
WC26 Arena is a fan-run project that lets football supporters decide who the best players of the 2026 FIFA World Cup really are — one head-to-head vote at a time.
The 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, is the first 48-team edition in the tournament's history. That means more than 1,200 players across 48 national squads, spread over 104 matches. With a field that large, the usual "player of the tournament" debate becomes impossible to settle with a single poll. WC26 Arena breaks the question down into the smallest possible decision: given these two players, which one is better?
Every time you make that choice, our ranking engine updates. Show a player enough times, collect enough verdicts from enough people, and a genuine crowd-sourced order emerges — from the striker leading the Golden Boot race down to the reserve goalkeeper nobody expected to see. There are no expert panels and no editorial weighting here. The leaderboard is built entirely by the people who watch the games.
What you can do here
- Rank players — the core mode. Two players appear; you pick the better one. Repeat as long as you like.
- Browse the leaderboard — the live top 100, filterable by nation, group and position.
- Build the Best XI — the highest-rated eleven players right now, arranged on the pitch.
- Explore fixtures — every match in the tournament, with the ability to rank only the players in a given game.
- Compare any two players — head-to-head stats and rating history for a matchup of your choosing.
Who makes this
WC26 Arena is an independent project built by a single football fan, not affiliated with FIFA, any national federation, or any club. Squad and match data is compiled from public sources and kept up to date throughout the tournament. If you spot an error — a wrong club, a missing player, an outdated squad — please let us know.
